Real project / Promotion change

Offer terms, ads and links in one review.

The retailer’s task

An ecommerce retailer was changing its promotion. The ad copy, existing image and video assets, offer terms and destination links all needed to describe the same offer before the change could go ahead.

What I did

I led the preparation and review, using the existing production workflow and AI assisted copy tools. I set out the offer terms, prepared candidate copy and headlines around the existing assets, checked the content and links, and listed what needed correction or approval.

What the company received

  • An offer recordQualifying terms, exclusions and benefit timing in one place, used as the reference for the copy.
  • A campaign review packageCandidate copy and headlines paired with existing image and video assets, destination pages and tracking links.
  • A content checkThe copy, headlines, media references and links compared with the saved package. This checked the data, rather than a rendered ad preview.
  • A correction and approval listThe revisions, unresolved questions and decisions needed before activation.
Actual review findings, anonymised and simplified.
Copy, headlines and links
Checked Matched the reviewed package.
Advertised value claim
Flagged Needed supporting evidence before approval.

Why it matters

When a promotion changes, an old benefit, wrong destination or unsupported claim can leave the ads telling a different story from the offer. This review put the offer, candidate ads and open issues together for the approval decision.

The documented result is the review package and flagged issues. Launch results, sales impact and time saved were not established by this work.

02 / Composite exampleFictional retailer

Composite worked example / Fictional retailer

Creative, campaigns and reporting as one service.

Real components assembled into an illustrative engagement. Not one client’s history.

The problem

A fictional retailer has a promotion ready. Copy, launch and reporting sit with different people, so the founder chases each one and every round starts with a new brief.

How the service runs

One offer reference feeds AI assisted copy variations. A reviewed shortlist is checked for claims and links, launched in Meta or Google Ads and monitored. The report sets the next test, and corrections become checks for the next round.

What the retailer would receive

  • A creative shortlistVariations built from product and offer facts, paired with existing assets.
  • A checked launch packageCopy, claims and links compared with the offer, with approvals resolved first.
  • Managed campaignsLaunch, monitoring and a record of changes within the agreed budget.
  • A scorecard and next testResults against orders, a decision and the next change made.
What is real and what is illustrated.
Offer reference and review package
Real work The promotion project above, including the flagged claim.
Structured creative pool
Real demo The public library of 100 prepared drafts for a fictional product.
Monitoring and report delivery
Real tooling A dated campaign monitoring snapshot and a deployed report portal with downloads and comments.
Launch, optimisation and the full loop
Illustrative How the parts run together in an engagement.

No sales lift, time saving or staffing replacement is claimed. A real engagement measures results against the retailer’s own sales records.
